Committed to providing young trombonists, tubists, and euphonium players of the Gulf Coast with an engaging and comprehensive educational seminar. The 2022 Gulf Coast Low Brass Academy is a 2-day workshop open to low brass musicians from middle school through high school ages, as well as recently graduated seniors looking to major in music in college.

The workshop includes opportunities to play in group warm-ups, chamber settings, perform for the faculty and guest artists during masterclasses, and attend lectures and faculty recitals!

The 2022 workshop will take place on Friday, June 10 (8am-5pm) and Saturday, June 11 (11am-4pm). Tuition is only $75!

This year, the Gulf Coast Low Brass Academy will be hosted by Spanish Fort High School’s Band.
